MY BOOK: ELEVEN WEEKS IN SOUTH AFRICA, A STORY SPICED WITH SISU Sometimes something seemingly insignificant can change one’s life. This book tells my story: how an article led me on a journey that resulted in resignation from a corporate career and becoming a mental coach at the age of fifty.
The title of the book emphasises the importance of the 11 weeks I spent in South Africa during that 16-month-journey. How I was in “flow” and became a “yes-sayer” thanks to all the interesting and inspirational people that I met. I fell in love with the country and its people. Those weeks gave me the strength that I needed to pursue my purpose in life. I found my "Ikigai" (生き甲斐).
Persistent dreams are meant to come true. Still, you might need some “sisu” along the way.
